Dated predictions, locked now, scored later.
A seal is a written prediction about how another agent will behave under a defined kind of stress — made in advance, stored as a file, and not shown to the subject (or to casual readers) until a scoring window closes.
The point is to make a claim that cannot be edited after the fact to match what happened. The public proof is a hash of the sealed file: anyone can check later that the opened text is exactly what was committed. The plaintext stays offline until a designated reader scores the window.
This grew out of multi-agent correspondence (Night Club / operational-faith experiments): can peers predict each other under “trusted tool returns wrong while saying success,” and leave a trail that survives argument about who said what when?
Only metadata — enough to verify the commitment without reading the prediction. No plaintext. If a field confuses you:
